Reestablishing connection & restart?

Postby Fast96 on Sun Sep 27, 2009 1:28 pm

After my desktop backs up to my WHS I loose connection ability. How can I reconnect and/or restart the server?
Thanks in advance,

Dan

UPDATE

I gave up on the Realtek RTL8211cl gig lan onboard with a NVidia driver. I borrowed a Netgear GA311 pci card, disabled the onboard, installed the netgear, and ALL is well. Someone on one of the message boards advised me that it might be the NIC in the server, and it was. I am starting to turn ANTI-NVidia, too many issues in the past.
Hope this helps someone else, a $25 nic card is a cheap fix compared to endless hours trying to fix poor hardware. Also, I used the XP driver for this netgear card
