Stream video over internet

Postby Olefin on Wed Sep 16, 2009 4:59 pm

Hi

Is it possible to stream video over the internet using Windows Media Services in Windows Homer Server?
I am able to stream via HTTP from my WHS but can't get it to work using RTSP. I have opened the relevant ports (554)
and forwarded them on my router but when I open my URL (using RTSP) for my WHS using Windows Media Player 11 on a remote PC (running XP) it says the protocol is not supported. I have protocol rollover enabled on my WHS.

Has anyone tried the above and got it to work?
