Help My WHS is failing Data protection strategi

Postby willadsen on Thu Oct 22, 2009 8:08 pm

HI
My WHS is starting to fail sometimes, i suspect the system drive is faulty.
In have a replacement drive and i am villing to reinstall WHS from scratch.
But what about the data the WHS contains there is a lot of pictures, home videos and quite a few DVD ISO's i have ripped from my DVD's
I use them through MyMovies from my MediaCenter.

I dont have tha HD capasity to store all of this outside of the WHS and i am affraid that the data vill be unuseable with a new installation of WHS

Vill i be able to move the old data discs over to a newly installed WHS or do i have to find a way to backup all the data in WHS

Regards Jens
