For Sale: USB LCD for WHS

Postby gazman321 on Wed Sep 16, 2009 4:56 am

Hi

I have a few USB LCDs for sale, that I use on my headless WHS to display status and other information about my WHS.

The LCD's are 20 characters x 4 lines, white writing on a blue background, black writing on a blue background or black writing on a green background(pictured), and can be used to display anything from system temps and network status to rss news feeds and music track titles and much more .

They are mounted in 2 x 5.25 drive bays (you can still use the bays behind the LCD). I do sell them with the mounting kit.

These LCD's connect to your WHS via a USB cable and are controlled by LCD Smartie software

I'm selling these for £40 each including mounting kit and shipping. I will also ship abroad, but shipping will be more.

For further details and pictures, please PM me.

I have now attached some updated and better qualitity photos of one of my LCD's working on a computer. It will work on any computer not just a WHS.

You may notice some numbers are missing in the photo, this is because the numbers are constantly changing, noting to do with the LCD. Also i apologigse for the white at the top caused by the cameras flash.
