Amazon S3 Plugin

Postby keymastr on Fri Oct 05, 2007 3:26 am

Just wanted to post something here - get things rolling. I can't wait for the Amazon S3 plugin... their rates are cheap, and I have about 200GB that I would really love to have safe and secure. I will jump on this when it's available.

I'd also love to see some kind of plugin for a Slingbox - or maybe a plugin for a CMS product such as Joomla or Drupal.

Wait no longer :) This plug-in actually came in second place at the Microsoft Code2Fame challenge. You can find out more and download it here:

Enjoy!

Hey Robert - I've been looking at that page probably every day for the past couple of weeks... waiting until the WHS version is available for download. I still only see a "coming soon" page with some info, no pricing set as yet, and no download for the WHS version. Am I missing something (I hope I am!)?

Cheers.

I'm sorry man. You are totally correct, it is not out yet. I had been reading about the initial Code2Fame winners and knew JungleDisk was one of them and assumed it was available now.

Sorry to get your hopes up, but hopefully it won't be much longer. Microsoft is supposed to "officially" announce all the winners on the WHS site at the end of this month I believe.
